Nicolerenée might be known for its couture bridal designs and elegant evening wear, but now the label is adding yet another string to its fashion design bow by branching out into the world of couture knitwear.
Inspired by a Sixties winter wonderland, the new collection – which is available to buy now – comprises bright whites and light tones on flattering-to-the-figure pieces; a leather shift dress is adorned with laser cut-out snowflakes while a stretch fabric dress is accentuated by twist details. “The range has potential as an alternative bridal collection with some dresses being developed into silk ecru and long length knitted dress for brides,” explains Renée Christopher, the Central Saint Martins trained designer behind the collection.
Pieces can also be tailor-made according to your size and colour preference so if you’ve got a January wedding planned, be sure to make an appointment at the Spitalfields boutique. Prices range from £200-£900.
